Philippines -Our sincere thanks to Debie Abalos, a member of A Ray of Hope for over 16 years, who generosily financed, organised and completed her projects to bring happiness and gifts to an amazing number of 150 children in Lemery Batangas.
 
The children also had a games/ activities day.
Debie’s family is quite unique in that 4 generations of her family were members also and contributed to the early wonderful projects

Nepal - Nepali dance and music is an important element of Nepali culture. It has been a source of manifestation of their emotions, telling stories and evoking images. It also expands social and cultural interaction and provides an overall well being and togetherness. For this purpose, we conducted dance performances in different places around Kathmandu and Kavre District Nepal. "Cultural Show: Traditional Dances Nepal" Cultural Dresses: Music


Nepal  – Sunita Educational development through  the provision of schoolbags and  educational expendables.  The main purpose of this project is to help the pupils  in their daily school tasks . 12 needy children were chosen by the school. Also demonstrating a daily fitness regime and the benefits of regular exercise

Uganda Sophgenyi Feeble Care Initiative - scfi organized an event where hygiene products, including reusable sanitary towels, soap, and sugar, were distributed to over 50 PWDs at Kyabigambire Sub-County headquarters in Hoima District.
 
A Village Health Team (#VHT) member conducted an educational session on the importance of body hygiene, emphasizing how proper hygiene practices contribute to overall health and well-being. They also provided a step-by-step demonstration on how to use and care for reusable sanitary towels, ensuring that beneficiaries can use them effectively and safely.

Nepal ; Parents are forced to keep their  deaf  kids far from their home for their education , So kids don't have to travel long distances for schooling . Since Kavre Deaf School is  the only option for their  children’s  education they don't have any other choices .I believe ,my project will help those kids to fulfil their education staying on school provided house for their future .support for Kavre Deaf School.

 

India ; Our  new  Henny Penny Library opened today at Ayanagar, New Delhi. We are so proud of our dear alumni Ripu who is driving this initiative.
The children loved the colourful books and charts and are looking forward to reading all the stories one by one..We look forward to the smiles getting bigger....

 

 

This programme has  the students  engaged with Nepalese parliamentary system and good government workshop offers the opportunity to engage in leadership exercise. It help to develop and motivates young leaders and thinkers, "Student Parliament" This programme will be held in Sindhuli, a rural area in Nepal.

 

 

Nepal Art involving nature can be done simply to display the beauty of the natural world - around us to make observation in an environment and to open our minds about our own connection to nature and beyond. Nature art is a fun and engaging way for kids to explore and connect with the natural world.

Nepal Discipline and integrity "Art of self defence”  Bahung Secondary School - It not only conditions the mind and body to have strength and stamina to but also helps children to feel confident and empowered.

 

 

Social, cultural and educational conditions are poor in Baglung and the Government is trying to improve the condition" It teaches you how to protect others as well as ourselves.. We, as youth, are trying to build a happy and empowered community here.

 

Nepal ; Save the School is working with Nepalese schools to improve quality of  education in remote areas.  This year we are planning to provide science lab equipment to one of the local schools and stationery to other two schools of Jhapa district of Nepal. 
The Science Lab Support Project aims to provide science education on the basis of practical activity to remote schools in Nepal that lack the necessary laboratory equipment. By offering hands-on learning opportunities, this project aims to enhance students' understanding and engagement in science education.

The project will identify needy schools through local sources and equip them with science laboratory facilities. This year we have chosen the following schools Science equipment for 
Shree Sharada Adharbhut School,Bhadrapur, Jhapa 
 Stationery support for Shree Prithivi Adharbhut School, Bhadrapur-8 , Jhapa
Shree Pashupati Adharbhut School,Bhadrapur-5 , Jhapa


Uganda - Hermitage Community Secondary School and vocational centre
These text books will promote science education in the school, research and improve  students performance since science subjects were made compulsory to all learners in Uganda   and with the ministry of education revising  the curriculum to competency based assessment

 

Reach out, Cebu City Philippines -
Our 2025 objective is to: 1. Educate: Provide essential school supplies to a total of 168 learners 2. Experience: Offer Langhap Sarap Jollibee meals 3. Inspire: Foster a sense of community and social responsibility.
 

Also included will be positive use of leisure time and focus on well being.

 

India ;
A fantastic session on Critical Thinking for our Senior children was organised at The School of Happiness. The session was a part of our Udaan program journey and was facilitated by Manju Rai ma'am. The children enthusiastically participated in all the activities and it was a great learning experience for all of us

David Tyler Nursery and Primary School,  Uganda  
is school offering education to needy children, currently there are 287 pupils enrolled . School
redecorated as we wait for new entrants nursery to primary 6.

 


Chicken project This project will serve the children in three areas of focus a) supplement on nutrition b) Learning purposes for children to appreciate  the importance of poultry c) Source of income to the school for sustainability

 

A selection of 2024 revisited
