Uganda Hope Foundation is  a voluntary non – Governmental and not for profit  organization; set up to design and implement development related projects, through defending, promoting and raising awareness, acceptance and knowledge; socially, culturally, legally, economically etc, in a bid to empower and develop capacity building of local communities, in order to reach their full potential, through a participatory approach.

Uganda Hope Foundation (UGAHOPE) is operational in Uganda.

Uganda Hope Foundation (UGAHOPE) is not a funding agency, and requires contract or grant funding to run its activities.

Vision

Mission.

In partnership with local communities, we seek to improve the quality of life of people in Uganda, thus building hope for the future.

To transfer skills and knowledge through sensitization, community involvement, collective responsibility, volunteerism etc, that will empower and enable government, NGOs,FBOs,CBOs and other local communities to plan and develop strategies of service delivery appropriate to people’s needs.

Setting up and delivering model community development initiatives, which demonstrate quality in practical life development skills in all spheres of life.

SANYUKA CHILDREN’S MINISTRY:

Sanyuka is a children’s ministry with a vision of ‘building hope for the future’, and a mission of ‘working towards a future without prejudice for children and their families’.

 

What we do.

bullet We identify, treat and nurture abused children in our communities.
bullet Protect children from abuse.
bullet Empower young adults with a positive future.
bullet We strengthen families and build awareness for child headed homes.
bullet Promote the needs of the girl child.
bullet Partner with individuals, local authorities, communities, organizations, to provide basic needs, welfare, support and advocacy for children.
bullet We support vulnerable children and their families for better health, education and nutrition.
bullet Support HIV positive children access care and treatment.
bullet Train volunteers and counselors to comfort, advise and protect children and young people who may feel they have no where else to turn.
bullet Adoption and foster care.

 

 

Sanyuka klub 5

This is a non-exclusive adolescents club, targeting young adults between the ages of 12-17years, in a bid to provide an alternative lifestyle for today’s adolescent, free from promiscuity. This is a very unusual type of teen’s club, that goes along way in changing the lives of young adults in communities around us, to develop a common understanding of situations and challenges faced by young people in Uganda.

 

Our foundation aspects are based on five core objectives of:

ü  Educational support.

ü  Reformation and promoting of personal and social development through collective responsibility.

ü  Capacity building and skills mobilization and training.

ü  Reproductive health aspects.

ü  Raising awareness on youth activities and mobilizing adolescents for solidarity by promoting and facilitating their active participation in national issues.
