In late 2002, we started organizing Business & Social Networking events for young Nigerian professionals in cities across the USA and London, UK. On January 2nd 2004, we organized our first Business & Social Networking event in Nigeria.

This first networking event was the culmination of many thoughts and considerations coming from both inside Nigeria and further afield. There were certainly strains of suitability for Nigeria happening in the United States but they did need molding to fit the needs of the young Nigerian professional.

An "overview of NiPRO coming to Nigeria" soon developed in both the hearts and minds of those inside and outside Nigeria.
