“Peace One Day” Mozyr, Belarus

On 1st August,  we had an interesting and informative meeting with the Director of Education, Ms. Luba Klepchukova and senior educationalists of the city of Mozyr, Belarus.

In association with A Ray of Hope it was agreed that the staff and students of Mozyr participate in “Peace One Day” and in doing so contribute to the global effort of raising awareness and the desire for a culture of peace. The Mozyr project will begin on 1st September culminating on 21st. It will take the form of a global message involving over 10,000 children and teachers.

This is intended to be the first of many programmes of study which the Director would like her students to become involved in. An innovative advancement to increase the level of technology in schools is planned and will assist schools to communicate more widely.
