Stage  One:  Identification  of 50 pilot foster-homes per Sub-parish.

Activities:

i)                    Sensitization, training  and induction of the Catechists as Sub-Parish co-ordinators (SPC).

ii)                  Foster-home  first identification by  Community  volunteers  and Sub-Parish co-ordinators (SPC) .

iii)                Home visits to sensitize the care-givers and orphans about the program.

iv)                Direct interviewing of the caregivers and the orphans.

v)                  Photographing the foster-home  include all orphans and care-giver  at their real home.

vi)                Selection of 10 peer-group orphans  ( 12 to 18 years ) per  sub-parish with even  Bubondo  representation  and gender balance.

vii)              Appointment of  Peer-group leadership  (one boy and one girl).

viii)                    Confirmation   and induction   of  Bubondo  based volunteers per sub-parish.
