Bienvenue aux élèves et étudiants latinistes !
Le samedi 5 mai 2007, des latinistes à travers l'Europe auront l'occasion de rivaliser dans la version pilote de ce concours révolutionnaire qui se déroulera simultanément en France, au Royaume-Uni et en Allemagne. Une classe virtuelle sera mise en place à Paris et reliée aux deux autres centres situés en Angleterre et en Allemagne, de telle sorte que les étudiants seront en contact les uns avec les autres pendant qu'ils traduiront un texte d'auteur latin et feront une recherche sur leur héritage commun par le biais du mythe d'Europe. descriptif

On Saturday 5th May, 6th Form Classicists throughout Europe will have the chance to compete in the pilot version of this ground-breaking competition, to be held simultaneously in France, Germany and the UK. A 'virtual classroom' will be set up in Paris and linked with the two centres in Germany and England so that the students will be in touch with each other as they translate a passage from Latin and research their common heritage via the myth of Europa. details

Am Samstag, dem 5. Mai werden Latinisten in mehreren Ländern Europas die Möglichkeit haben, an diesem Wettbewerb der besonderen Art teilzunehmen, der simultan in Frankreich, Deutschland und Großbritannien stattfinden wird. Ein virtueller Klassenraum wird in Paris eingerichtet und mit den beiden anderen Zentren in Deutschland und Großbritannien per Videokonferenz verbunden werden, sodass die Teilnehmer untereinander in Kontakt sein werden, während sie einen Text aus dem Lateinischen in ihre jeweilige Muttersprache übersetzen und anhand des Mythos von Europa ihrem gemeinsamen kulturellen Erbe nachgehen werden.
