From High Mountain to Emerald Island
is a wonderfully developing friendship between children in Nepal and Northern
Ireland. (from Mount Everest to the green fields of Northern Ireland)
In such a very short time the communication between the children has led to both
expectancy and excitement. Daily contact allows for the exchange of
culture, traditions, festivals, celebrations and interests.
We welcome the affiliation of the Metta Centre to A Ray of Hope, UNESCO Youth
Ambassador for the Culture of Peace and hope that the cultural enrichment
by the Director and children of Nepal can be truly reciprocated.
