SCHOOL DAYS

School days are definitely the happiest days of your life.  From the very day you start primary school until the last day of your secondary education, these are days that should be remembered and cherished.

At primary school you haven't got a worry or care in the world.  This is the age of innocence when you are oblivious to the big, bad world outside your own.  It's the age when your mind runs riot with imagination.  You become your favourite footballer while kicking a ball around the school-yard.  In fact, you can become anyone you really want to.

You are totally oblivious to the value of money, and think everything is free!  It is the age when you believe in Santa Claus.  This made Christmas a magical and wonderful time, not only for the free presents he left you, but for the glass of milk and biscuits you left him!

Then you move on to secondary school and the onset of adolescence and puberty.  This is the beginning of the end of your childhood as your body starts to change into an adult’s, and you become more aware of the opposite sex.  It is a very special but difficult time, but at least you know you're going through it with your friends, which in itself is special, and can lead to bonding friendships, which often last a lifetime.

This is usually the time of your first romantic liaison.  You can never quite re-capture this moment, as the surges of enjoyment travel up and down your body and you are introduced to sexual awakening.

During these days every subject under the sun is discussed with your mates as they comment and giggle at the intimate bits.

They are also the days when you try alcohol, tobacco and drugs for the first time.

You really don't realise just how good those days are until you've left them behind.  The big, bad, cold world hits you up the face, and reality kicks in.
