Despite the achievements the college has so far attained,  it is constrained by a number of hindrances which have not allowed the best extension of its services to students some of whom are needy  whose parents were claimed by Aids.  Among the several obstacles the following are inclusive:

There is a very big discrepancy between the required firms to cater for the basic needs of the students and what the college suffer injects in

Access to safe and enough water also stands to be a very big problem in the running of the college.  Students have to walk long distances away from college to collect water and in the process classroom lessons and other programmes are distorted sometimes halted.

The water they collect is not safe for drinking as at times it gets contaminated with micro and macro organisms in the wells

Teachers’ welfare in form of feeding, transport and accommodation also posses a big obstacle to the college prosperity.  Teachers’ feeding is too poor characterized by the same dish day after day due to inadequate funds to alternate it.  Accommodation for teachers is also still poor as the college has to rent rooms from the surrounding areas for its teachers, which are small and inconvenient for the staff.  Indeed the college has not constructed teachers’ hostels due to inadequate resources

Important to point out is transport problem which is not only for the teachers but the entire college.  The college has no college bus to easen the transport for students and their teachers to and from the college

The college lacks a mechanism of facilitating its teachers for further studies which is essential for a better output.  This’ also entirely due to inadequate funds the college has in its treasury

Facilities in form of text books, laboratory equipments for sciences and other scholastic materials such as pens, pencils, chalk and note books/exercise books for students are usually inadequate.

The number of computers so far available is also very small compared to the size of the students.  In fact the ratio of students to the computer is 42:1.  This has negatively affected the efficiency in conducting computer lessons.

Furniture in the college is also inadequate compared to the college furniture requirements.  Teachers for example sit on wooden stools in their staff room which is very inconvenient to them especially the female staff.  Worse still tables are very few in the staff rooms and yet the size of staff is increasingly growing bigger.

Many of the clubs in the college still lack enough facilitation. In particular the football, netball and volley teams have few and inadequate boots, uniforms and balls.  The music dance and drama group entirely lacks musical instruments such as guitars, pianos micro phones and speakers which has made it survive on hiring which is heavily taxing on the school finances.
