Cambridge college of St. Mbaaga has been excelling academically since its
establishment and is still determined to produce the very best results in Uganda
certificate of Education(O-level final examinations) and Uganda Advanced
certificate of Education (for A- level) respectively.
In particular, out of the 20 students who sat A- level in 2005, seven
were admitted to Makerere University and the remaining got admissions to other
reputable Universities and tertiary institutions in Uganda. In bid to
broaden its academic frontiers, the college introduced science subjects at
advanced level in 2005, which were not taught before. As a supplement to the
usual subjects taught in all colleges and secondary schools in the country, the
college introduced Computer lessons to all its students after obtaining a few
computers from some of its friends. This
is to enable the students cope up with this era of computer technology. COMPUTER
LESSONS Students get training in basic computer skills to enable them cope with the computer era. This particular project took off with a donation of 10 computers from the Uganda Government ministry of education. |
