The college has
maintained a good and healthy relationship with the people of the area in which
it is located and its surroundings. It
has in several instances received and welcomed advices from particular
individuals and parents in the area. In
turn the college has also participated in the sensitization of the area natives
on various fundamental aspects like sanitation and personal hygiene as well as
observance of children rights
This has been
done through music and drama staged by the music, dance and drama club of the
college for the indigenous people.
PARENTS’
PARTICIPATION IN THE COLLEGE AFFAIRS
The parents have been
brought together with teachers under the Parents Teachers Association
(PTA), and
through this, they take part in the affairs of the college through sharing their
views during meetings. They also
have special days on which they’re invited at the college to experience what
their sons and daughters do at the college. In this way, teachers and parents
come together to help shape the youth into responsible citizens.
